Ray Yeung’s ‘Front Cover’ Tackles About LGBTQ+ Self Discovery- Release Date and Other Details

When a gay fashion stylist works with a renowned foreign actor, they both embark on a journey of self-discovery.

‘Front Cover’ is a 2015 American drama romance film written and directed by Ray Yeung. The film is a Hong Kong born director Yeung’s second feature film, next to Cut Sleeve Boys in 2006, which likewise screened at international film festivals, won awards and enjoyed a theatrical release in several countries. He has also directed eight short films and two theater plays that have been performed in London and Hong Kong, as well as advertisements.

‘Front Cover’ is all set to release on Netflix on June 15.

'Front Cover' follows Ryan, a gay New York City fashion stylist, despises and rejects his Asian upbringing. He's given the task of styling Ning, a foreign actor, for a major photo session. After a bumpy start, they form an unlikely bond, prompting Ryan to reassess his identity and make a crucial decision regarding a promising new career and life path.

The cast includes Li Jun Li, Jake Choi, James Chen, Jennifer Neala Page, Sonia Villani, Elizabeth Sung, Peter Benson, and Ming Lee.
