This year, winter made its entrance earlier than expected, blanketing many regions around the globe with heavy snowfall in a flash. This icy spectacle was not limited to foreign lands; a multitude of cities in our own country were also swathed in white. Snow days were declared in many provinces, including Istanbul. Meanwhile, Russia, already renowned for its chilly climate, started to send over mind-boggling images of snowfall.
Particularly, the Kamchatka Peninsula surrendered completely to the white shroud. As people endeavored to clear the roads amidst snow depths exceeding 4 meters, in certain areas, it was observed that the snow had reached as high as the fourth floor of buildings.
