Something Terrifying Is Coming to Call of Duty: Warzone

Activision has just launched its first cinematic trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty Season 3 that will feature the “Classic Arms” theme for both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. The new season’s contents are set to arrive on April 27, introducing new operator skins. At the end of the cinematic, we can also hear a monstrous growl.

Butcher, the Vanguard captain, voices the trailer's narrator, who explained that the Nazis have successfully blown up the Nebula bombs across the world, as well as the Caldera island in Warzone. At the end of the trailer, he said that the explosions that happened in Caldera island have awakened 'Something far more powerful and fearsome than anything we could ever hope to comprehend,” indicating the awakening of a possible monster.

The monstrous roar could indicate anything, ranging from Zombies to even ancient creatures living under the island. Leaks have also suggested that the growl was made by popular movie monsters Godzilla and King Kong, who were also rumored to appear in a future Warzone event.

Call of Duty’s official twitter account has also posted a sound clip related to the cinematic trailer that they prompt players to decipher.

'We've uncovered a device broadcasting a mysterious frequency from the cache. Further spectral analysis is needed to decipher the signal,' said Call of Duty. 'Can any soldiers help?'

Listening to the clip doesn’t really help analyze what or who was behind the audio. Luckily PrestigeIsKey, a YouTuber, put the sound clip through a spectrogram and deciphered a secret message saying “Monsters are real”.
