The cast of the new thriller Assassination, starring Al Pacino, has been announced.

Set to begin filming in early 2025, the movie will also feature Oscar-winner Jessica Chastain, Brendan Fraser, and Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston.

Assassination offers a new perspective on the JFK conspiracy.

It focuses on the 1963 assassination of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy through the eyes of crime reporter Dorothy Kilgallen.

Jessica Chastain will play Dorothy Kilgallen, who suspects that JFK's assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, did not act alone.

Determined to uncover the real killer, Kilgallen faces off against the CIA, FBI, and mob leaders. According to Deadline, the film’s director, Barry Levinson, commented, 'Dorothy Kilgallen was the first woman to follow the JFK case. She died under very suspicious circumstances, and her death was never investigated.'

Assassination is already being described by critics as "a story in pursuit of truth."
