A 22-year-old man pulled off an unthinkable stunt as a joke at a cafe he visited with his friends on November 13. The young man, who swallowed a hamburger without chewing, was rushed to the hospital after falling ill. A friend who was with him at the time of the incident spoke to the Greek local press. The friend, describing the young man as having started to have a panic attack, said, 'He stood up and started running forward, and we thought he might be trying to throw up. Then he made as if to turn around, but he moved away again. We thought, 'Okay, he's going to get it out now,' but it didn't happen.'
Doctors disclosed that the young individual had been deprived of oxygen for two minutes. It was reported that the youth, whose treatment is ongoing in the intensive care unit, had been intubated. While doctors stated that his life remains in danger, they noted serious damage to his organs. As they emphasized the extremely critical condition of the young man, they expressed that this situation would leave lasting damage to his body.
In relation to the incident, the police have initiated an investigation.
