With this in mind, SZA told a TMZ reporter that she has recorded at least '100 songs,' that have not been released to the public.

No real reason has ben given for SZA's album delay, though SZA has in the past blamed the TDE label president Terrence 'Punch' Henderson, for its lateness.

On twitter, the New Jersey singer replied to a fans questions about the delay in the summer.

'“it’s 100% (TDE president Punch) and rca on this one. I wanted the summer. They wanted more time. I’m jus tryna have a good time stress free lol,” she tweeted.

Henderson, on the other hand, has blamed SZA for the delay with her project.

The rap CEO recently appeared on the 'Expert Opinion,' podcast with Math Hoffa, and hinted that the singer could drop her album whenever she feels ready.

In the interview, he claimed he was responsible for holding one of SZA's singles, 'Hit Different,' back a week from its release, as Ty Dolla Sign, who is on the hook, wanted to release some music in the same timeframe.

The TDE man said there is no beef between he and SZA and gave the impression that the artist could release her new album when she felt it was the right time.
