Turkey, which is always at the top of the food lists, disappointed this time... Cacik, a favorite food of summer days, could not make it to the top 10. Greece's 'tzatziki' was in second place. TasteAtlas Shared the 'Top 50 Dishes Made with Cucumber' List

The gastronomy platform TasteAtlas has shared another list that will make its name heard. This time, the list announced was 'The Top 50 Dishes Made with Cucumber'. The first place on the list went to Snezhanka, a dish from Bulgaria. This dish, made with strained yogurt and finely chopped cucumber, includes garlic, dill, and olive oil. This cold salad is often preferred on summer days.

The neighbor came in second! What place are we in?

The second spot on the list was occupied by Greece's 'tzatziki'. The third spot also belonged to a delicacy from our neighbor... Greece's Horiatiki (Greek salad) snatched the third spot. This dish, considered one of the symbols of the Mediterranean diet, consists of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olives, and cheese.

From Mexico, Aguachile, from Peru, Uchucuta, from Iran, Mast o Khiar, from China/Tibet cuisine, Pai Huang Gua, from Poland, Mizeria, from Japan, Sunomono, and from Saudi Arabia, Balilah made up the top 10 of the list.

So, where did Turkey rank?

Cacık, the indispensable of summer days and one of the most loved cold dishes, narrowly missed the top 10. Cacık ranked 11th on the list.
