Terraria is a 2D Sandbox Game developed and published by Re-Logic and 505 games in January 2011. It is known for its exploration-adventure style of gameplay. The visuals of the game feature a 2D tile-based graphical style like the old 16-bit games. The story of Terraria is full of wonders and mysteries with many biomes to adventure to. Players are able to explore, build, craft, fight, mine, and many more cool things!
After loading a new game of Terraria, each world is randomly generated, the player starts out with basic tools and an NPC to guide you. There is also a variety of weapons and tools in Terraria you can choose from. As you traverse the lands, more biomes open up to be explored, and within them are chests with loot to aid you in your adventures. Deep down in the caves, you will be able to find different ores to upgrade your items. Be careful as there are many dangerous creatures, especially at night.
After defeating the boss of the underground, the Wall of Flesh, your game is automatically set to become harder, and a new biome is introduced. After killing the Golem boss located in the Underground Jungle Temple, the player can head to the dungeon to defeat the lunatic cultist. Then, the 4 pillars appear which the player must destroy in order to summon Moonlord, the final boss of the game. If you can defeat Moonlord, then you have successfully beaten the game. There are also achievements so be sure to get them all as you play the game!
