Tetris 99 gets updated to version 2.3.0

Nintendo has just released a new update for its battle royale puzzle game. The patch includes a ton of fixes to address multiple issues bugging the game. A tweet was posted by Dolphin Emu contributor OatmealDome regarding the patch as shown below.

It’s been quite a while since Nintendo released a patch for the game, with the last one being released over a year ago. The update enabled Tetris players to exchange their downloaded special themes for game tickets in the Customization menu. Here are the full patch notes below.

Feature 

  • You can now exchange some of your previously downloaded event themes (Special Themes) for game tickets using the Customize menu. Each event theme is worth 30 tickets.

Overview

  • The gameplay has been improved by addressing a few additional bugs.

Compatible with Ver. 2.1.0 via Local Network (Local Arena). Not compatible with Ver 2.0.0 or earlier via Local Network. Please check each system’s update data version.
