According to a report by Bundle News, Architectural Digest considered the 2024 rankings by US News & World Report, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and countries' sustainability efforts. Additionally, the opinions of 17,000 people were taken into account in the selection process.
The ranking evaluated countries based on various categories, including historical landmarks, natural beauty, museums, parks, and palaces. Out of the 21 countries listed, Greece secured the top spot.
Located in southern Africa, Zambia was recognized particularly for its stunning natural beauty, making it the highest-ranked African country on the list.
Known for its breathtaking landscapes and rich historical heritage, Italy remains a popular tourist destination. Despite increasing crowds, the country has implemented various measures to manage tourism, and its popularity is expected to continue growing.
Spain was ranked 6th, followed by Peru, Japan, Thailand, and Switzerland in the top 10.
