The Meaning Behind "Grid Complete" Update For Stranger Things Season 5

Stranger Things fans went wild after the writers of the series tweeted something that is related to the upcoming Season 5, or a so-called spoiler. But, no one can decipher or understand the tweeted photo because they put a twist on it: they blurred it with the caption, 'GRID COMPLETE.' It means that they’ve finished writing or listing all the scenes that will bring happiness, sadness, frustration, and anxiety to everyone that’s waiting for the last season.

Stranger Things fans all over the globe gather on different social media sites, especially Twitter and Facebook, to decode the possible meaning of the tweeted photo. Someone decoded that the words written in red ink mean death or something terrible happened to a character, especially since Max Mayfield was still in a state of comatose before Season 4 ended.

And the blue words were the bright and happy scenes that will be seen in the final season. The hashtag Eddie is Alive went to the top of the trends on Twitter because everyone loved Eddie Munson, and everyone is expecting him to be still alive and will be seen in the last season of Stranger Things. The purple words mean the biggest plot twist that will happen in the series, just like 'Eddie is Alive.' 'Max woke up.' 'ByLer End Game.' This trend puts a lot of hope in everyone’s heart because these characters are well-loved by the fans all throughout season 1 to season 4.

But before everyone expects that Eddi will come back to life, Shawn Levy, Executive Producer of the series, said, 'Even though he loves Eddie’s character so much, it will be most unlikely to bring him back because Eddie said,' He wanted not to run anymore and chose to be the hero that he is.' To add to Stranger Things fans' 'deciphering game,' one Twitter user noticed a line between Episodes 4 and 5 of Season 5. Some fans thought that this is where the time jump would happen or where it was most likely to be introduced or seen.

But, Stranger Things writers popped the hope bubbles and replied, 'Not a time jump. Does it mean anything? ' But, before the writers posted the grid, Matt and Ross Duffer, also known as the Duffer When Brother teased that there would be a time jump in the last season, everyone thought it'd be in the first or second episode.

The Duffer Brothers answered it honestly in an interview with IndieWire, 'We’re doing our best to resist adding new characters in the last season. We’re trying not to do that so we can focus on the OG characters, I guess. ' So, that sums up that there will be no possible new character for the upcoming last season of Stranger Things.
