Turkey has found itself under the influence of Siberian cold weather. Particularly in the Eastern and Central regions, it has been observed that temperatures have plummeted below freezing. In Sivas, the temperature dropped to as low as minus 30 degrees. Amidst the widespread freezing, the only place that remained unfrozen was the lake called 'the evil eye bead of the steppe,' Gökpınar Lake.
So, why doesn't Gökpınar Lake freeze?
