The Simpsons Producer Finally Reveals How the Show Accurately Predicts the Future

Famed for its eerie predictions, The Simpsons has left fans wondering how the show manages to foresee real-life events. In a recent interview with People, producer Matt Selman explains the surprising truth behind these predictions and how they seemingly come to life. Curious about how they do it? Read on for all the details!

There’s probably no one among you who hasn’t heard of "The Simpsons."

Whenever a major political, economic, or social event happens around the world, it is often claimed that 'The Simpsons' predicted it beforehand.

Some of these claims are true, while others are simply made up.

Since its debut in 1989, and now in its 36th season, the show has managed to foresee many eerie events, from Donald Trump's presidency to other shocking incidents.

But how?

Recently, the show's producer, Matt Selman, gave an interview to People. He repeated what he's been saying for years over and over again.

In his statement, Selman said,

'I always give the same answer, and nobody likes it. If you know history or math, it’s impossible not to predict some things. If you say enough things, some of them will match reality. That’s part of math. Also, if you’re making a show about past stupidity, it’s not hard to predict future stupidity.'

The show’s team doesn’t appreciate people sharing fake images online and claiming they predicted things they didn’t.

However, 'The Simpsons' predictions have spread so widely across the globe that it seems impossible to stop. What do you think about this?
