His commitment involves directing $2.5 million through the XO Humanitarian Fund, aimed at providing aid in this conflict-ridden region. This generous donation is estimated to supply around four million emergency meals, a crucial intervention in a region grappling with the consequences of ongoing conflict.
Corinne Fleischer, WFP’s Director for the Middle East, North Africa, and Eastern Europe, highlighted the dire situation in Gaza and the acute need for humanitarian aid.
