The second season of ‘The Witcher’, a fantasy, action, mystery, romance, drama, and occasionally comedy rolled into one, is now on Netflix’s Top 10 together with its season 1, amassing 541 million hours of viewership during its first 28 days on the streamer.
The Witcher is based on the book series of the same name by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and is created by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, an American TV producer and screenwriter, for Netflix.

The ‘Superman’ himself Henry Cavill top-billed ‘The Witcher’ as Geralt of Rivia, a lonesome monster hunter, who bouts to look for his place in the vast world of Continent, where magic survives and thrives, and where people prove more wicked than monsters and beasts.

Season 2 ends with The Continent on the verge of pernicious enmity. The elves are out for justice, the mages scheme amongst themselves, and Nilfgaard’s leader has finally revealed himself as the true villain, with conspicuous ties to Ciri. But while The Wild Hunt and the rest of The Continent are out for Ciri’s blood, we could only hope how long Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri’s new family can stay together.
