This Feel Good Movie is Now Streaming on Hulu

Initially named Summertime, this film is a comedy-drama created, coordinated, and produced by an American, Edward Burns.

Life is never boring on Long Island; the movie commences with a brief introduction on all the characters and a camera roaming around a humble residence, escorting a girl on a bike. She is greeting her neighbors as everyone steps out for the new day.

It’s the summer season of 1982. JJ, a fresh high school graduate, works at his father’s fancy beach club. During this time, he seriously falls for Debbie after a recent breakup. JJ thought he’d use work as an opportunity for healing, but Oops! Things change.

Summer Days, Summer Nights is an everyone-equal film. Each character is personally battling a past love crisis while trying to find room for growth.

Terry, JJ’s cousin, also a musician, is at JJ’s family for summer while working at Claudia’s small marina. Claudia is JJ’s neighbor and a single mother of one, Winky. Winky is annoyed by her wealthy boyfriend for leaving her. Claudia persuades Terry to befriend her daughter.

At the same time, Frankie is on a mission to get his long-lost high school darling, Suzy, back in this town for summer. You cannot afford to miss this romantic drama! Summer is winding up, and so do the relationships- a hard reality for the young men.

Edward Burn’s cast comprises of himself as Jack Flynn, Pico Alexander (JJ Flynn), Zoe Levin (Lydia), Susan Misner (Claudia), Jon Rudritsky (Mello), Anthony Ramos (Frankie), Rita Volk (Winky), Caitlin Stasey (Suzy), Amadeus Serafini (Terry) and Carly Brooke (Pam).

Summer Days, Summer Nights premiered on Hulu on Wednesday, March 23. This film will bring back your high school love crisis memories.
