Location and Design
Located on the Karaköy waterfront, right inside Galataport Istanbul, The Peninsula Istanbul is one of the city's newest and most luxurious hotels. Consisting of four protected historic buildings, the hotel stands out for both its architecture and elegance. The interior design was created by renowned Turkish architect Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu. Reflecting the Peninsula group's global standards, the hotel combines modern art elements with Ottoman details.

One of the hotel's most notable features is its 1,675-square-metre underground spa and wellness centre, which offers luxurious hammams, an indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room. In addition, the Gallada Restaurant on the roof of the hotel offers examples of modern Turkish-Asian cuisine with a view of the Bosphorus. The Peninsula Lounge offers personal concierge service, tea time and elegant meeting rooms. As a sustainability-focused hotel, its BREEAM certification is also important in terms of environmental awareness.
