Anadolu Hisarı, which is one of the most well-known symbols of Istanbul, is located on an area of 7000 square meters. It was built between 1360 and 1395 during the reign of Yıldırım Beyazıt to ensure the security of the Bosphorus.
This structure, which consists of an inner and outer castle and city walls, is rectangular and has four floors. Since it did not have a gate when it was built, it was reached by a suspension bridge.
