The Pursuit Continues: ‘Undercover’ Now on Season 3

Grab some popcorn and jump on your favorite couch because the long wait is over: Netflix will be releasing the 3rd season of the much-awaited crime drama series ‘Undercover’ by this week, January 10, 2022.

A Recap on Seasons 1 and 2

This Nico Moolenaar creation focuses on Bob Lemmens, a Belgian undercover agent who was assigned by the Belgian Federal Police to track one of the world’s largest XTC networks. As the Belgian and Dutch Federal Police Forces joined forces, Bob infiltrates the drug kingpin’s operation with the help of his Dutch cop partner Kim De Rooij.

Dutchman Ferry Bouman, the head of the network is very canny and slippery, whom, despite his fortune, prefers to live in a simple chalet next to his villa.

Bob and Kim played as a camping couple close to Ferry and his wife Danielle Bouman. Their plan: win their trust, set Bob up as a criminal that Ferry can do business with.

In season 2, Bob had succeeded to put Ferry Bouman in prison and is planning to seek revenge on Bob and Kim.

Meanwhile, Bob is back working with the Belgian illegal arms trade and goes undercover to the El Dorado Ranch guys. He seeks help from his ex-partner Kim De Rooij who currently works for peace and human rights organizations.

What to Expect in Undercover Season 3

Tom Waes who plays the role of Bob, is a first-rate Belgian film actor, director, and television presenter. He is famous for his programs like Het Sex De Pauw, Tomtesterom, Wauters vs Waes and Tragger Hippy. He is also the ambassador of the non-profit organization Sea Shepherd whose mission is to protect marine life worldwide.

While the other stars are not coming back in the third season, Bob Lemmens and Ferry Bouman’s paths will cross again for another set of action-packed episodes. Undercover was the only Belgian series nominated for the 2018 Canne séries Festival.
