As of 2025, the national minimum wage for workers aged 20 and over in Ireland has been set at €13.50 per hour. This wage is set to increase again in 2026. However, according to the calculations for 2025, if a person in Ireland works 37.5 hours a week, their monthly salary is around €2,000. The annual salary for someone working 37.5 hours surpasses €26,000.

There are certain deductions on the gross salary. For instance, for single workers, income up to €44,000 is taxed at a rate of 20%. While a person working 37.5 hours receives a gross monthly income of €2,050, after tax deductions, this amount comes down to around €1,800.

Therefore, while the gross salary hovers around €2,030-2,050, such deductions can bring the net salary down to approximately €1,800-1,850. This is dependent on a combination of factors such as the total weekly or monthly working hours, tax credits, and deduction rates.
