Deutsche Bank, a leading global investment bank, has released a new report. The report contains a groundbreaking prediction regarding the USD/TRY exchange rate. The banking giant forecasts that by the end of 2025, the dollar will reach 43 Turkish Lira, and it will further climb to 52 Turkish Lira in 2026, and then to 62 Lira in 2027.
In its latest report, Deutsche Bank touched upon the Turkish economy. The report indicated that moderate growth in the Turkish economy is being maintained. The bank, which stated that cautious interest rate cuts will continue, expressed that there will be a positive trend in medium-term bonds towards 2026.
The banking giant recorded that the dollar/TL will reach 43 by the end of 2025. The bank provided a figure of 52 TL for 2026, and made a prediction of 62 lira for 2027. On the other hand, the major investment bank stated in the report that the decline in Carry returns could increase currency volatility.
The report also included growth data pertaining to the Turkish economy. It was noted that the Turkish economy expanded by 3.7 in the first nine months of 2025.
The factors contributing to this growth were listed as robust domestic demand, a surge in gold prices, credit expansion, and construction activity following an earthquake.
