On March 8, 2014, a passenger plane belonging to Malaysia Airlines, en route from Malaysia to China, ceased contact with air traffic control and altered its course about an hour after takeoff. Despite some of the most extensive search efforts in history, no trace of the MH370 flight carrying 239 people was found, apart from a few small pieces of wreckage. More than a decade later, efforts to locate the missing Malaysian plane have been reignited. Ocean Infinity, the company at the helm of this mission, is set to resume its search operations by the end of this month, in a bid to unravel the mystery of the lost aircraft.
