As a form of punishment, Ferit's family sends him to study abroad, and he graduates from a university in the USA. Returning to Istanbul, he continues his carefree existence, yearning to live life on his own terms. However, the burden of financial dependence on his family restrains him from openly rebelling against their wishes.

When Halis Agha insists that Ferit marry someone from Gaziantep, Ferit reluctantly acquiesces, assuming the marriage will be a mere formality, allowing him to maintain his desired lifestyle without interference.

Seyran Sanli (Afra Saraçoğlu)

Seyran, Kazim's daughter, hails from the vibrant city of Gaziantep, where she was raised. Possessing remarkable beauty, success, and a strong-willed nature, Seyran enjoys the advantage of being part of one of Gaziantep's most affluent families. Growing up in such an environment, Seyran has had the opportunity to learn both English and French languages.

Despite her privileged upbringing, Seyran finds herself weary of the constant pressure exerted by her father and aunt. Longing to pursue her education and explore her passion for sculpture and painting, she yearns for a life beyond the confines of societal expectations. However, Seyran finds herself unable to resist the weight of her family's expectations.

As trust in his grandson Ferit wanes, Halis is faced with a difficult choice. In a bid to instill a sense of responsibility and discipline, he resolves to arrange a marriage for Ferit with someone from Gaziantep, hoping that this decision will lead to a positive transformation in his grandson's life.

Hattuç Sanlı (Serif Sezer)

Hattuc, the aunt of Kazim, holds a significant role in the lives of Seyran and Suna, who also refer to her as their aunt.
