The D.O Double G has finally made his way to both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone. His arrival was set today on 4/20 also known as weed day.
This isn't the first time the famous rapper made an appearance in Call of Duty, as he was previously released as a playable character in Call of Duty: Mobile alongside a custom legendary gun in the first week of April.
Snoop also appeared in Call of Duty: Ghosts where he shared his voice lines and became available as a multiplayer voice pack in the game.
The new Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle is now available for purchase and it includes his very own voice lines, biography, along with three legendary blueprints. His custom biography reads:
“Growing up in Long Beach, California, Snoop Dogg realized he had a talent for rapping at a young age and began to pursue it as a career. Now, he is still releasing music and appearing as a media personality on multiple shows, but in his free time, he chooses to fight as an operator in Call Of Duty.”
The famous rapper's bundle is strongly associated with marijuana, particularly the three legendary blueprints that came with the bundle. 'The Bong Ripper,' a sniper rifle, 'West Coast Bling,' an assault rifle, and 'Tha Shaznit,' an SMG, were the blueprint names. The gun bullets were 'weed' themed, so the muzzle flashes took on the shape of marijuana.
His release today at 4/20 was done on purpose by the Call of Duty team. According to their blog post on the official Call of Duty website, they said, “It’s no coincidence that he’s joining the fight right before a certain unofficial April holiday.” Snoop is known to use marijuana products, that is why Call of Duty has decided to release him today to celebrate marijuana day.
