Tea, coffee, and lime stains can leave your glassware looking dull and lackluster. No matter how thoroughly you wash them, the dullness persists. Fortunately, there are natural solutions to this common kitchen issue.
If your glasses are stained with tea or coffee, your first line of defense should be the dynamic duo of baking soda and vinegar.
Spoon a teaspoon of baking soda into the glass and pour a little white vinegar over it. Once the mixture starts to fizz, spread it around the inside surface of the glass. After letting the mixture sit in the glass for a while, scrub it with a sponge and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water.
Lemon salt is even more effective than baking soda and vinegar, especially for stains that have been left for a long time. To get rid of these stubborn stains, add a tablespoon of lemon salt to a bowl of warm water and let your glasses soak in this solution for 20 minutes. Then, simply wash them as usual.
