Your Earth Day Treat is Finally Here: 'The Biggest Little Farm: The Return' Comes to Disney Plus

Disney Plus, in cooperation with National Geographic, is on the mission to satisfy us all with a variety of original content for Earth Day. From Polar Bear, Explorer: The Last Tepui, Bear Witness and the treat itself, The Biggest Little Farm: The Return airing on the same day.

The film is grounded on the 2018-award-champion documentary movie telling the tale of Molly and John Chester. The couple renounced their citified life in LA to stay on a barren farm in Ventura County to cultivate tasty food in peace with nature.

This new Disney Plus’s achievement follows the pair’s ten-year-tireless voyage. They change the barren land into a remarkable fruitful farm and record the whole operation in an uplifting piece, Apricot Lane Farms.

Following the trailer, there are glances of John’s monologue playing over various magnificently shot nature video clips resembling those from the original film. He mockingly narrates the tale of how they built the family after being ‘inexistent’ for ten years and how their life eventually worked out after some rocky times.

We are entertained by some breath-taking footage of ducks and baby lambs running around, bad weather hitting the farm, and a couple working together to maintain the farm.

Before his farming profession, John was previously a documentarian. He administered shows like Safari Vet School, which offered the viewers a glimpse into life as a fauna vet in South Africa and Jockeys, which dived into the life of professional horse jockeys. John has also won several awards for his encouraging short movie, Super Soul Shorts.

The film, The Biggest Little Farm: The Return, lands on Friday, April 22nd (The Earth Day) via the Disney Plus streaming platform. The platform has also taken it to its Twitter page to announce the great news. “It’s not just farming; it’s a way of appreciating the world.”
