Directed by Chris Winterbauer and written by Max Taxe, Moonshot follows a laid-back barista Walt (Sprouse), who teams up with a college student Sophie (Condor), to sneak onboard a space shuttle from Earth to Mars.

The trailer shows Sophie and Walt bonding at his coffee workplace. Sophie is sad and mopey because she misses her boyfriend of eight years, who checks out all her future long-term partner requirements. They've been dating long-distance since he landed his Martian dream job and shipped off to Mars.

Walt encourages Sophie to sneak onto a spaceship to Mars to see her boyfriend. They part ways at the boarding station, but he then changes his mind and decides to follow her. Their journey to Mars onboard the ship is filled with drama, including crazy partying and interesting encounters. 'You never know how the stars will align!'

The cast members on board with Sprouse and Condor include Mason Gooding as Calvin (Sophie’s boyfriend), Zach Braff as Leon Kovi, Emily Rudd as Ginny, Lukas Gage as Calving Riggins, Michelle Buteau as Captain Tartar and Christine Adams as Jan.

Moonshot is the second movie of the four-film collaboration between the streaming platform and the production company Berlanti-Schechter Films.
